Live courses are scheduled several times each year to provide an opportunity to take courses in an environment where attendees can interact with the instructors and other attendees. They are preferred by some because the course in completed in a compact time period and in an environment designed for learning with few distractions. Attendees can ask questions and hear the questions of others to personalize the content of the course to their own specific situation.
Courses normally run from 8AM to 5PM Monday through Wednesday, and 8 to 4PM Thursday (Fitting lab), and Friday (Optional Therapeutic Shoe). Course exams (8 total) are taken on a daily basis and reviewed the following morning to provide an opportunity to have information or questions clarified.
Passing a certification exam will involve more than simply sitting through the live course. Passing will require active engagement during the course, taking notes and consistently reviewing the material from the time of the course until taking the exam.
